Closed Front Veiling - $9.99
This is a large veil and one of the fullest coverage veilings I have to
offer if paired with an underscarf. I highly recommend the "Stretchy Tube Veil"
in a matching color if you are trying to cover everything completely.
It is rounded at the bottom hem. Finished with the rolled
hemmer on the server. Also the nice benefit is the front is stitched closed so
you don't have to tie this veil. You will still probably want to arrange it,
tuck it, or pin it a bit to frame your face in the way you like. There are
actually a lot of ways to do that with this veiling. The look of it can change
quite a bit depending on where you pin it.
I usually make this out of a cotton or polycotton as it is
cooler. It tends to be stiffer at first, but does soften a bit after washing.
However, if you don't mind the warmth a polyknit would drape a lot nicer. If
you would like polyknit, there is an additional $2 charge as it is a more
expensive fabric.
Q: Help! What size do I need?!:
A: If you are unsure of your size please select
medium. Please consider the following things as well. I don't mean to
overwhelm anyone, but read over this and perhaps you might get a better idea of
what is best for you.
Quite often people will have an idea from
previous veilings or hats if they have a small or large head. Sometimes a
person with a smaller head might desire the greater coverage area of a larger
veil, and so on etc.
If you wear your hair in a bun, consider your bun
size as well. Depending on the covering style, a bun might make a difference in
the fit.
My model that many of my veils are displayed on
is a bit on the small side. Quite often someone may desire a veil to lay
exactly where it is shown on the model. Keep in mind, the model also doesn't
have hair which also may affect her fit. In most cases you simply pin/clip the
veil on where you want it anyway. Finally,
if you wish, you can measure all the way around your hairline area and put that
measurement in the notes section when you order it can help me determine the
size. This is not a perfect method as even our hair lines vary from lady to
lady.
