Shipping Costs

These shipping costs are within the United States only!!!  Costs are based on how many items you order.  Make sure you select the correct one if you are using the paypal cart.  As of  10-10-10 I am lowering the charges as I have seen them come out to these levels fairly consistently.

1-2 Items = $3.25 (this rate is for first class shipping under 13oz, if you desire priority it will be $6.50)

3+ Items = $6.50 (jumps to priority mailing from here out)

International Orders

If you are an international buyer, please email to see what we can work out depending on your individual situation.  The paypal cart will not automatically add shipping for international orders.  I will have to invoice you seperately once you place your order.  If you want a quote ahead of time, which I HIGHLY recommend, please contact me first.  I will need to know tenatively what you plan to order so I can get you an accurate quote.

Processing Time

Current turn around time on orders (unless you are told otherwise) is 2-3 weeks, plus mailing time.  Please remember these are custom sewn items.  If you need something quicker, please let me know.  If I am not backed up I will try to accomodate your request if I am able.  Also, I don't always take that long.  If I am able, I sew right away.  It is best to assume it will take that long to be safe .

Payment Methods

I will accept checks, money orders, and paypal payments.  Paypal will allow you to pay with a credit card without you actually having to have a Paypal account.  If you wish for a speedy order, it is best to use a cleared paypal payment.  Mailed items take longer for the time it takes to get to me as well as clearing time.

Return Policy

Please be aware as these are custom made items.  Returns generally can not be accepted for this type of an item.  I strive to do my best sewing on all orders I send out.   Thus, unless a gross error has been made, all sales are indeed final.

On any gently used item, I would consider a return minus postage costs if you notify me within 3 days of receipt of your item.

Placing an Order

If you do wish to place an order, please feel free to use the shopping cart system.  If you wish to mail a payment, then email me.  Also, please feel to email me if you need help ordering.

If you wish to order one of the gently used items, you will need to email me directly and I can invoice you.  If you email stating you want the item, I will place it on a temporary hold.  I can only hold items for a short time as others may be wishing to purchase them as well.

Privacy

All information submitted to me is always kept private as it should be.

Other Fabrics

Currently I am not accepting fabrics from outside sources to sew.  I can not be liable in the event of an error occurring and I could not find the exact replacement fabric locally.

Special Requests

I am happy to accommodate special requests when possible.  If you place and order, please tell me any concerns or changes you may need immediately.  I may start an order within a very short time on receiving payment.

For example if you want a buttonholes sewn into for headcoverings for hairclips, please notate that in your order.  Otherwise I will have to default to the basic plain style.

Miscellaneous Information

I do wish to know about it if you are displeased with something.  However, please be aware that these are a handcrafted item(s) and occasionally you might find variations in stitching or things that are just simply part of the quality of handcrafting.  It does not mean they are of lesser quality, just simply they are made by a human being and not a robot.  :-)

Covering Care

Many of the coverings I sew, could easily go through a washer and dryer I imagine.  However, I will not ever recommend that!  They will simply wear out faster.  Machines are very hard on coverings.  I usually handwash my coverings at night and hang them to dry.  They always dry over night.  It is far more gentle on your covering to get the longest life out of your covering.  So I would say wash at your own risk.
